Rupam's journey began in 1965, marked by a spirit of innovation and expansion. Starting with the manufacture of bicycle tube valves, the company ventured into brass pit foundry, demonstrating its early diversification. A significant milestone was the establishment of "Rupam Impex" in 1980, introducing a range of innovative brass earthing and wiring accessories. Rupam's international ambitions also took root during this period, with successful entry into foreign markets culminating in the founding of "H.P. International Corporation" in 1985. This company played a key role in introducing brass cable glands and hardware to the Far East and Southeast Asia.
